(Online) White Racial Affinity Group

We are pleased to continue to offer the White Racial Affinity Group on Sunday, February 26th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. This Anti-Racism Affinity Group will be for White participants and led by Alison Howard and Barbara Cristy. This group will continue to meet on the 4th Sunday of every month.

Please mark your calendars for upcoming meetings:  March 26th and April 23rd.

We are happy to announce that the BIPOC Affinity Groups are up and running again and will meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month, separate from the White Affinity Group. Registrations will be separate. You will receive emails with those links, or can find both registrations on the website under events! Please reach out to ARC@magps.org for more information about either group and other anti-racist programing at MAGPS.

This meeting of the White Affinity Group will take place through the Zoom platform (you will receive a link when you register). We will be discussing our own experiences of race and how white supremacy affects our practices and MAGPS.

Although these groups are not traditional interpersonal process groups, we do expect to be attuned to what comes up in the here and now. The purpose is not to enhance clinical group skills but to use process to deepen our awareness of how we can become anti-racists in an anti-racist organization.
