BIPOC Consultation Group
Sunday, April 20th , 2025
3:00-4:30 PM
We are pleased to offer our BIPOC consultation group on April 20th from 3:00-4:30 p.m. This group will be for BIPOC-identifying participants and led by Margaret Wilmot-Francis. Currently this group will continue to meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month, until we decide upon a new date/time.
These groups will run separately from the White Affinity Group. Please reach out to ARC@magps.org for more information about either group and other programing at MAGPS.
This meeting of the BIPOC Consultation Group will take place through the Zoom platform (you will receive a link when you register).
The purpose of this group is to provide a space to connect with other BIPOC mental health providers. We hope to offer a space to decompress, facilitate clinical discussion (e.g., anti-racism), share experiences within professional spaces, and personal interests.
Important Updates
At our last meeting, a vibrant conversation was held with Sheldon Sullivan and Reggie Nettles! We spoke about intersectionality, story telling, diversity in America, and the power of reclaiming our time/experiences. Thank you both for the wonderful conversation!
Most importantly, the feedback received by current and previous group members surrounding the date of our meeting (Sundays) has been received and implemented. As such, please see below for a link to fill out concerning updated dates/times for our meeting. It will only take a moment of your time. We hope to see you all this Sunday!
Important: We hope this will be the final Sunday we meet, we hope to implement our new date and time in May!
